Weekend Soda is a functional soda by Tomorrow Inc. — zero sugar, low calories, and a flavor experience that evolves with every sip, thanks to proprietary sweet-protein technology. We designed a comic-style packaging system for the brand's 12-can BoomBox set.
Every illustration on the cans was drawn from scratch in a bold American comic style: heavy outlines, flat colors, dynamic poses, and that playful, retro post-apocalyptic charm. Each flavor — cherry, cola, orange creamsicle, and more — gets its own comic panel identity, so the 12 cans read as a single connected series.
Built for an online-first DTC brand, the system works as a set: 12 cans together become a shelf-worthy collection, and individual characters crop into stickers, social posts, and unboxing moments.
